age 61 of Highland Park passed away on Friday, April 6, 2012 at his home. Born August 21, 1950 in Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico he has been a resident of Highland Park for 40 years. Survivors include his mother Maria de Socorro Contreras, his wife Rosalinda Contreras nee: Moreno. Four children Lydia, Linda, Ignacio and Rosa Contreras. Seventeen grandchildren a brother Louis Contreras and a sister Mary (Valente) Ramos.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 10:00 AM at SEGUIN & SYMONDS FUNERAL HOME, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood Interment following at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 4 to 9 PM at the funeral home.

Born November 24, 1958 in San Juan de la Vega, GTO, Mexico he has resided in the Waukegan and Highland Park area for many years. He worked for Sunset Foods, Highland Park as a cook in the deli dept. for over 22 years. Survivors include his wife Maria Celina Vasquez-Cervantes and a 16 year old daughter Maria Guadalupe Cervantes. Friends may call on Monday, April 9, 2012 for 4:00 to 9:00 PM at the Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood. A funeral mass and interment will take place in San Juan de la Vega, GTO, Mexico later in the month.
